This tutorial will show you how to setup an IMAP email account on your iPad.
1) First, locate and press the “Settings” icon. It may be on a different screen or in a different location than shown here.

2) Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”, then click “Add Account”.

3) Then choose “Other”.

4) Press “Add Mail Account”

5) Enter the Name, Email address, and Email password of the email account you’re adding.

6) A “Description” will automatically appear, but you can change it if you like. When finished, press “Next”

7) In this tutorial we are creating an IMAP account… therefore, ensure the IMAP option is selected here.

8) Next you have to enter your Incoming Mail Server settings… the Host Name, User Name and Password for the Incoming Mail Server.

9) Next, enter the Host Name, User Name and Password for the “Outgoing” Mail Server

10) When finished, press “Next”

11) Then press “Save”

12) Success! The IMAP email account has been setup on the iPad, and you can see it here listed under “Accounts”

13) Let’s return to the home screen by pressing the Home button on the iPad. Then to check your email, press the “Mail” icon (Note: the icon may be in a different location on your iPad)

14) If you have multiple email accounts setup in your iPad, they’ll all be listed here. Select the email account we just setup…

This tutorial will show you how to setup a POP email account on your iPad.
1) First, locate and press the “Settings” icon. It may be on a different screen or in a different location than shown here.

7) Success! The Yahoo! email account has been setup on the iPad, and you can see it here listed under “Accounts”. Now let’s return to the home screen by pressing the Home button on the iPad.

9) … and any emails in your inbox will be displayed here. You click an email header to see the email.

This tutorial will show you how to configure your email settings on your iPad.
1) First, locate and press the “Settings” icon. It may be on a different screen or in a different location than shown here.

2) Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”. This is where you can configure all your email settings. Let’s go through some of the more common ones.

3) Press the “Fetch New Data” option. If your email service supports “Push” email, you can enable that feature by turning it on here. Alternatively, you can set your iPhone to “Fetch” your email at certain intervals… every 15, 30 or 60 minutes… or manually.

4) Back at the Mail Settings screen, press “Show”.

5) From here you can choose how many messages to show at one time…

6) … how many “Preview Lines” to show…

7) You can adjust the font size…

8) … and whether or not to show the “To” and “CC” labels. You can also enable the “Always Bcc Myself” option to send a copy of your sent messages to yourself, if you want to keep a copy of your sent messages elsewhere.

9) You can setup your email signature… and choose which email account is to be your default account (if you have more than one).

10) Just about any setting you could want to change for your iPad email, can be changed from these screens.

11) Let’s return to the home screen by pressing the Home button on the iPad.

1) This tutorial will show you how to setup your email signature on your iPad. First, locate and press the “Settings” icon. It may be on a different screen or in a different location than shown here.

2) Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”… and then select the “Signature” option.

3) Enter your signature here. It should be something that you want automatically added to the end of the emails you send from your iPad.

4) When finished, press the “Mail, Contacts…” button to go back.

5) Success! Your new signature has been saved, as you can see here.

6) Let’s return to the home screen by pressing the Home button on the iPad… and then let’s test the signature… press the “Mail” icon (Note: the icon may be in a different location on your iPad).

7) Then press the “Compose” icon in the upper right to start composing a new email message.

8) There it is! Our signature has automatically been added to the bottom of this email we were about to create.

4) This is where you can update your email password. You should only have to do this if your email password has changed. Enter your new password, and press “Done” hen finished.

5) Press “Done” again.

6) That’s it! The email password has been updated in the iPad.

7) Let’s return to the home screen by pressing the Home button on the iPad.

2) Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”… and select the email account you want to remove from your iPad

3) Then press the “Delete Account” button here.

4) Press here to confirm you want to delete the account. Note: Deleting an email account from your iPad will also remove all messages that were in your iPad.

5) That’s it! The email account has been deleted from the iPad, and it is no longer listed here.
