Assp Spam Scanner Functions

Following is a list of the available remote functions of the FatCat Servers ASSP email interface:

 

Important:

  • Make sure you are sending the report email using FatCat Servers Mail Servers
  • Replace 'yourdoamin.com' with your actual domain
  • If possible forward as an attachment, but you can forward messages inline if need be
  • remove any automatically added signatures from forwarded messages
assp-spam@yourdomain.com -- to report spam messages that were not detected
To Use: Forward the spam message to "assp-spam@yourdomain.com"
You should receive a confirmation message in a few minutes
assp-notspam@yourdomain.com -- to report legitimate messages that were marked as spam
To Use: Forward the message to "assp-notspam@yourdomain.com"
You should receive a confirmation message in a few minutes
assp-white@yourdomain.com -- for WhiteList additions
To Use: Send a message to "assp-white@yourdomain.com" with the email address that you wish whitelist in the BCC field or in the body of the message (one per line).
Note that no email will be delivered to any address except assp-white@yourdomain.com
You should receive a response from FatCat Servers ASSP showing the results of your message?
Tip: If you wanted to add all the addresses in your address book to the whitelist, create a message to "assp-white@yourdomain.com" and then add your entire address book to the BCC part of the message or in the body of the message (one per line) and click send

assp-notwhite@yourdomain.com -- for WhiteList removals
To Use: Send a message to "assp-notwhite@yourdomain.com" with the email address that you wish to remove from the whitelist in the BCC field or in the body of the message.
Note that no email will be delivered to any address except assp-notwhite@yourdomain.com
You should receive a response from FatCat Servers ASSP showing the results of your message?
Tipx: If you wanted to remove many addresses from the whitelist, send a new message to assp-notwhite@yourdomain.com and then add all the addresses to the BCC part of the message or in the body of the message (one per line) and click send.
assp-persblack@yourdomain.com
Any mail sent by local/authenticated users to "assp-persblack@yourdomain.com?will be interpreted as a request to add the listed address(es) to your personal blackListed addresses. Whole domains can be blocked by putting a wildcard in the userpart of the address: '*@example.com'
Tip: You can receive a complete report about all your personal black list entries by sending an empty add request
You should receive a confirmation message in a few minutes
assp-notpersblack@yourdomain.com
Any mail sent by local/authenticated users to "assp-notpersblack@yourdomain.com" will be interpreted as a request to remove the listed address(es) from your personal blackListed addresses
You should receive a confirmation message in a few minutes
asspanalyze@yourdomain.com
Any mail sent or forwarded by local/authenticated users to "asspanalyze@yourdomain.com" will be interpreted as a request for spam analyzing the mail.
You should receive a confirmation message in a few minutes
asspblock@yourdomain.com -- to see blocked emails
This function will eMail a report of the blocked email messages for the past 5 days
To Use: Send a message to "asspblock@yourdomain.com" from any of your @yourdomain.com email addresses (depending which email address report do you wish).
In a few minutes you will receive an email with a list of all the blocked emails on that specific address.
Tip: You can also click in the email to resend the message
