Repoint DNS from 000domains.com Print

The purpose of this tutorial is to teach you how to repoint your DNS (Domain Name Servers) settings fromt 000domains.com to FatCat Servers

If your domain name is registered through 000domains.com, you will need to go to their site, and point your domain name to FatCat Servers DNS Servers

   Name Server 1: NS1.FATCATSERVERS.com
   Name Server 2: NS2.FATCATSERVERS.com
   Name Server 3: NS3.FATCATSERVERS.com

1. Let's begin by going to 000domains.com and login to your account
2. Click on the My Domains link on the upper menu bar. This will open the Domains page
3. Click on the domain name you wish to manage. This opens the page for this domain
4. You can see the current DNS settings. These are the ones you are going to change
5. Below the Nameserver Settings, Click the Update Name Servers link. This takes you to the Name Server Update page
6. Scroll down, and enter NS1.FATCATSERVERS.COM then Click on Add
7. Repeat for nameservers 2 and 3
8. When you are done, scroll down and enter your email address to confirm the changes
9. Then click on Continue

You are now at the Name Server Update Results page, and it shows that the name servers where successfully updated to FatCat Servers.

You may now click the Logout link in the upper right corner.

NOTE: Please remember while propagation usually takes place in a couple of hours, it can take as long as 48 hours for your domain name to fully propagate after you make these changes.
