The purpose of this tutorial is to teach you how to repoint your DNS (Domain Name Servers) settings fromt DynaDot.com to FatCat Servers

If your domain name is registered through DynaDot.com, you will need to go to their site, and point your domain name to FatCat Servers DNS Servers

     Name Server 1: NS1.FATCATSERVERS.com
     Name Server 2: NS2.FATCATSERVERS.com
     Name Server 3: NS3.FATCATSERVERS.com

There are two or more nameserver (NS) settings that must each be changed. Let's begin by going to the DynaDot.com home page.

  1. Click on the My Account link at the top of the page. Enter your Username and Password in the boxes, and then click the Sign In button. You are now logged in to your DynaDot.com account, and are on the Account Summary page.
  2. Click on the Domain Names link on the right hand side. This will open the My Domain Names page.
  3. Click on the domain name you wish to manage.
  4. Click the Set Name Servers button. This opens the Set Name Servers for Selected Domains page.
  5. Scroll down, and enter your new DNS settings in the boxes that are in the section called Name Servers.
  6. Click on the Enter Name Servers button. This will take you to a page that will confirm that your changes were successful.
  7. When finished, click the Signout link at the top of the page.

You have sucessfully updated your DNS settings, and your domain is now pointing to your new hosting account on Fatcat Servers.

NOTE: Please remember while propagation usually takes place in a couple of hours, it can take as long as 48 hours for your domain name to fully propagate after you make these changes.
