  • 0

The purpose of this tutorial is to teach you how to repoint your DNS (Domain Name Servers) settings fromt enom.com to FatCat Servers

If your domain name is registered through enom.com, you will need to go to their site, and point your domain name to FatCat Servers DNS Servers

     Name Server 1: NS1.FATCATSERVERS.com
     Name Server 2: NS2.FATCATSERVERS.com
     Name Server 3: NS3.FATCATSERVERS.com

There are two more nameserver (NS) settings, and you must change all of them. Let's begin by going to the enom.com home page

  1. Click on the LogIn in the upper right corner. This takes you to the Login screen
  2. Enter your Login ID and Password, and then click the Login button
  3. You are now logged in to your enom.com account
  4. Click on the Registered Domains link
  5. Scroll down to where it says DNS Server Settings, and click on this link
  6. This takes you to the Edit DNS servers screen
  7. You can see the current DNS settings, that need to be changed
  8. Erase and enter the correct DNS settings in the boxes for Name Server 1, 2, and 3
  9. Click the Save button when you are finished

You will get a pop-up informing you that any change in DNS will take approximately 24 hours to propagate, It asks if you wish to continue, Click OK

You can see the settings have been successfully updated, and your domain is now pointing to your new hosting account on FatCat Servers servers.

NOTE: Please remember while propagation usually takes place in a couple of hours, it can take as long as 48 hours for your domain name to fully propagate after you make these changes.
